Mother and grandmother of 3, helped found boulder county chapter of PFLAG, in 2004 received the hunter award for Colorado HRC campaign for outstanding Colorado volunteer, former high school teacher and theatre director, founded safe schools coalition in boulder county.

A PhD student at the University of Denver, Graduate School of Social Work and my research is focused On Grief in the Lives of Lesbians Age 50 and Older. Also, member of the Multicultural Social Justice Organization and the Queer Equality Alliance at GSSW.

Jeremy Shaver
Spokesperson for Interfaith Alliance of Colorado, director of education and family ministries at Christ Congregational Church in southwest Denver, helped develop a coalition of religious leaders and faith communities in support of referendum I and in opposition to Amendment 43. Shaver has been with his partner David Claypool for 6 years.
Denver Slam Poets
The Slam poets are part of the national championship team from Denver. The four poets are Ken Arkind, Jacob P., Young American Eddie, and Paulie Lipman. They are usually found performing at The Mercury Café Sunday nights at 8pm.
